Chicken Choyela | Nepali Food Recipe

  • 1 pound Boneless chicken cut into cubes
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic and Ginger Paste
  • Few chopped Garlic and Ginger
  • 1/2 Lemon or Lime Juice
  • 2 Small Tomatoes
  • 1 Green Chili
  • 2 tbsp. chopped Green Onions
  • Cilantro for garnish


  1. Heat oil in a pan
  2. Add chicken cubes and fry for 2 minutes
  3. Add turmeric powder and fry until golden brown
  4. Remove it in a mixing bowl
  5. Add chili powder, cumin powder, salt, garlic ginger paste, chopped garlic and ginger, green onion, lemon juice, chopped tomatoes and mix well
  6. Sprinkle cilantro for garnish. Serve.
